TERMS OF SERVICE

PRICING FOR 2026

This is the agreement Cleena Bins Pty Ltd uses for delivering bin cleaning services to domestic or commercial wheelie bins or 660 litre large bins on wheels. You are encouraged to read and understand the agreement as it explains what each of us is responsible for and is designed to protect you as well as Cleena Bins Pty Ltd.

1. What we do

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd will provide bin cleaning services for an agreed price in exchange for receipt of payment.

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd is committed to providing the bin cleaning service requested and this will include high pressure washing of the inside and outside of your bin and the deodorizing of the inside of your bin.

Our bin cleaning services DO NOT damage bins.  Bins that are already showing damage such as missing wheels, missing lids, cracked or broken lids, cracked or broken containers or other damage, will still be cleaned but while we are careful, no responsibility is taken for further damage.

During the provision of our bin cleaning services,  Cleena Bins Pty Ltd may need to access and temporarily use your driveway or similar areas to park our vehicles while performing the service. By scheduling our services, you grant us permission to utilise these areas solely for the purpose of carrying out bin cleaning operations. We commit to exercising reasonable care to prevent any damage to your property during this process. However, you agree to inform us of any existing damage or concerns prior to the commencement of our services.

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd carries its own water supply to perform its bin cleaning services.  However, in certain circumstances, we may need to access and refill our water tank using your water supply.  By agreeing to our services, you consent to Cleena Bins Pty Ltd using a reasonable amount of your water, if necessary, to complete the cleaning service.

By using the services of Cleena Bins Pty Ltd you agree to a small sticker being placed on your bin for identification and marketing purposes.

2. What you need to do

Your bins will generally be scheduled for cleaning in the week your Yellow (recycling) bin is emptied.

After your bins have been emptied by your local council garbage truck, leave your bins in an accessible area. Bins will not be cleaned that have been moved onto properties and are:

• not visible
• behind closed or locked gates
• in an area with an unrestrained dog

Bins will not be cleaned that have any of the following:

• Wet paint
• Builders waste residue
• Industrial residue
• Medical waste residue
• Contaminated or hazardous waste residue
• Heavy grease or oil residue
• Dog (or animal) faeces or carcasses

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse to clean bins it deems may pose a health and safety risk.

Excess rubbish left in bins will be bagged in a suitable plastic garbage bag and returned to the bin after cleaning.

3. Payment Terms

You agree to pay Cleena Bins Pty Ltd the cost of the service as set out in your booking confirmation.

After booking, you will receive a text message or email containing a unique payment link. Payment must be made using this link prior to the scheduled service date. We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit card) or GoCardless (bank account). Your payment details will be securely processed through the selected provider.

If payment is not received before your scheduled cleaning, your service may be delayed or cancelled. If a payment fails or is reversed, we will contact you to arrange an alternative method. Any failed or reversed payments may incur additional fees, which you agree to cover.

If outstanding fees are not resolved after our attempts to contact you, we may refer the debt to a collection agency for further recovery.

4. Refunds

Once we have commenced work cleaning your bins, fees are not refundable simply because you have changed your mind.

If you do change your mind, you will pay us an amount equal to our normal bin cleaning fee for the work we have completed.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Customers may cancel or reschedule their confirmed booking up to 2 days before the scheduled bin cleaning date without penalty.

All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to bins@cleenabins.com.au or via text message to 0468 999 700.

Fees will apply if written notice is not received within the required timeframe.

6. Force Majeure Event

Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control like a force majeure event. Cleena Bins Pty Ltd will attempt to contact you immediately to advise alternatives.

A force majeure event may include but is not limited to: car accident, traffic disruption, fire, earthquake, labour dispute, act of God, death, illness or incapacity affecting Cleena Bins Pty Ltd or any local, state, federal, national or international law or governmental order.

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd prioritises the safety and well-being of our employees. As such, our services may be postponed or rescheduled in the event of extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, severe heat, or other hazardous environmental factors.

We will make every reasonable effort to notify you of such delays and to arrange a new service date as soon as conditions permit.

7. Limitation of Liability

You agree that the total aggregate liability to us for any claim by you in respect of any service or services to you is limited to the total amount paid by you, to us for that service.

To the fullest extent permissible by law and without limiting the application of Australian Consumer Law, in the event of any fault in the services, our liability will be limited at our choice to:

• The supplying of the service again;
• The repair of any fault in the services caused by us;
• The payment of the cost of having any fault in the services caused by us repaired; or
• The payment of the cost of having services supplied again

This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by law and survives any termination or expiration of this agreement or your use of our services.

8. General Terms

Confidentiality – Some of the information you provide us will be information that is clearly important to you or your business. We will only use that information to provide services to you and will not share it. Our contracts and business methods are confidential to our business and we request that you keep them confidential.

Privacy – Any personal information collected by us in the course of providing services will only be used to provide services to you and for no other purpose. If you provide us with a testimonial or referral, you name, job title and business may be published.

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd are providing wheelie bin cleaning services to you as an independent contractor and nothing in this agreement should be interpreted to suggest otherwise.

These terms can only be amended by agreement in writing between both parties.

You may only assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement with our prior written consent.

Any time or other indulgence granted by us will not in any way amount to a waiver of any of our rights or remedies under this agreement.

This agreement is governed by the laws of NSW and you agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of NSW, if there was a serious dispute between you and Cleena Bins Pty Ltd.

If for some reason a clause of this agreement turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of this agreement will continue unaffected and that term will be severed.

Even if you do not sign this agreement, if you agree to Cleena Bins Pty Ltd bin cleaning services and Cleena Bins Pty Ltd provide those services to you, you agree to these terms.

Whatever ends up in this document is the agreement between us and anything else discussed beforehand or afterwards is not part of the agreement or fees charged unless it was included.

9. Definitions

In this document the following definitions apply in order to avoid confusion:

Cleena Bins Pty Ltd – ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means Cleena Bins Pty Ltd (ABN 45 679 705 410) its officers, employees, contractors, successors and assigns.

Customer – ‘you’ or ‘your’ means you, our valued customer, your successors and assigns.

Service – means all work completed in order to provide the customer with bin cleaning services to domestic and commercial wheelie bins or 660 litre large bins on wheels.

Agreement – means the terms included in this document.
